This series consists of the correspondence files of and reports received by Dr. Frank L. Tolman, Director of the Division of Adult Education and Library Extension (1937-1946) relating to his service as State Library Campaign Chairman of the Library War Bond Campaign. The Campaign was an effort to involve local libraries in the Sixth and Seventh War Bond Drives during World War II. These records provide information on the administration of the Campaign and reports of bonds sold in New York State.
